Wholesomely Dutch

He and She park their scooters on the side of the canal and go for a leisurely boat cruise on the water in colour matched T-shirts.

The Dutch are very wholesome people. Tall, beautiful, impecably dressed in designer and vintage attire, happy, socially openminded, prioritise asthetics, gainfully occupied with good jobs and good hobbies and environmentally friendly. They are everything that is right about this world really, it can be a little cheezy at times, but man I'm having fun!!

And Amsterdam is a city that comes out of my dreams. Narrow canals bind the city which is mostly cobble stoned, the streets are quaint, well decorated and characterful. Basically it means that pretty much every house in the city will have a waterfront - woo hoo!! Hundreds of bikes zip past all personally decorated for style and for ease of identification. There are bike lanes everywhere you go and no body wears helmets - but I still feel incredibly safe on the wheels. It doesn't get dark till 10.30pm, so it ensures that people 'live' on outdoor dining. Cafes and coffee shops (yep, that sort of coffee shop) line the pavement and people often have street tea parties just outside their house or offices. This place is sooo fun!!
